Mitch Cooper - William Takeover

Mitch Cooper has been putting out artwork in various mediums under the artist name William Takeover since the mid-2000's. Currently based in Salt Lake City after growing up in southern Utah and spending a few years based in Las Vegas, his work has been displayed and performed in various ways across the western states and beyond. With his artist collective Starfish & The Sun he has pushed boundaries at the intersection of art and technology since the days of flip-phones and Myspace. Live-streaming group painting sessions from live events and selling physical art through independent merch platforms designed for musicians. It only made sense to start exploring the world of web3 tech. 

His audio-visual artwork was formed from the combination of live improvisational performance on social audio platforms and the exploration of digital painting and creation. Mitch also enjoys the artform of the written word with poetry and storytelling, he released a short film in the fall of 2021 and has dabbled with various other film projects. Next release on the horizon is a full length instrumental album telling the story of Rudius, a character who finds himself lost in a dystopian, cyber-punk world that heavily resembles the one we currently live in.
